These restaurants are open at Christmas
Don’t celebrate Christmas at all? Or don’t feel like dealing with burnt fish, overcooked game, bone-dry birds in the roasting pan and split hollandaise in your home kitchen? These restaurants are simply open.

Near Amstel Station in Amsterdam, this restaurant serves lunch on the 24th and on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

2. Cafe Sjiek
In the south of the country, Cafe Sjiek’s kitchen is open from 12 noon to 11 p.m. on December 26.
Sint Pieterstraat 13, Maastricht
3. Cafe Restaurant Amsterdam
You can almost always go to Cradam. So this year too, on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Watertorenplein 6, Amsterdam
4. Podium
You can dine under the Dom on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Domstraat 4, Utrecht
5. Le VIN’x
For a delicious Christmas menu, but especially for excellent wine, le VIN’x is the place to be on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Verwersstraat 18, Den Bosch
6. Zaagmolen
This place has only just opened. So for Zaagmolen, cooking for you at Christmas may be just as exciting as it is for you. Still, they are happy to do it for you on Christmas Eve.

In Groningen, you can eat Japanese food on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

On this boat next to Amsterdam’s central station, you can enjoy amazing Chinese food. They are simply open on December 24, 25 and 26.

This restaurant in the centre of Amsterdam is open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

10. Plaats 1
In Nijmegen, Plaats 1 serves a Christmas brunch on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. You can also come here for dinner on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

In Rotterdam, you can enjoy a Christmas dinner on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Schiedamse Vest 30, Rotterdam
12. Kruidfabriek by Lute
You can dine here on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Christmas Eve. On the 25th and 26th, they also serve lunch. Tip: on December 23, they ‘clear out the fridge’. You can then have five courses for 45 euros.
