This Airline Is Now Serving Unlimited Caviar
Airplane food boring or simply impossible to stomach? Not if you’re flying Emirates First Class. There, you don’t get soggy pasta or a cardboard chicken sandwich, but caviar. And not just any little spoonful, either: unlimited caviar. Chilled and stylishly served in engraved Robert Welch bowls, with seven (!) garnishes. This is no longer a flight; it’s a gastronomic wellness weekend at an altitude of ten kilometers.
First Class, but truly first class
Emirates has taken its First Class experience to an even higher level. Think private suites with sliding doors, ‘zero gravity’ beds, personal temperature control and mood lighting. Whether you want to sleep, watch Netflix, work or enjoy an extensive meal of lobster rolls and Wagyu sliders, it’s all possible.
On board the A380, you don’t dream about turbulence, but about your next glass of Dom Pérignon.
Caviar, cheeses and comfort food with Michelin allure
The culinary upgrade? Next level. Alongside unlimited caviar, there’s a cheese board with artisanal cheeses and chutneys, fine dining on demand and even a Movie Snacks menu with lobster rolls and other guilty pleasures.
Prefer vegan? That’s been taken care of too. On some routes, Emirates offers gourmet vegan options. And for those with a sweet tooth: chocolate, dates, pralines and pastries to take home.
Champagne, tea and top-level wine
Wine list in the sky? Emirates has an entire cellar. With top wines from Bordeaux and Burgundy, exclusive ports, Lavazza coffee specialties and Sri Lankan Dilmah tea. And uniquely, Dom Pérignon is served exclusively here in First Class. Cheers!
Sleep like a sheikh (and wake up refreshed)
First Class passengers receive a bed with a mattress, cotton duvet and a faux sheepskin throw that’s more comfortable than your mattress at home. You also receive a Hydra Active pajama set with hydration capsules (yes, really), matching slippers, an eye mask, a Byredo amenity kit and, on long-haul flights, a Bulgari leather pouch with Le Gemme products. Luxury is sometimes in the details – and that’s where Emirates excels.
For now, I’ll have to make do with my Byredo lipstick (which was already a small fortune, by the way..)
