This airline serves the best food in the sky
Many people probably won’t understand this, but I genuinely love airplane food. Yes, it’s often far too salty and yes, it often tastes chemical, but I absolutely love the combination of that kind of food and flying (and perhaps the idea of vacation helps too). Of course, there’s quite a big difference between all the airlines; for example, I once had a terribly disgusting pizza roll at WOW! Air (which I also had to pay for), but I’ve had wonderfully delicious food on Oman Air and China Air.
This year, the Readers Choice Awards were presented, and they also gave an award to the airline with the best food. Even more useful: there’s a top ten.

There are quite a few Asian airlines among them, and that actually doesn’t surprise me at all when I look at my own experiences; the food really does taste much better there. But what can you expect from the number one airline? For example, pork ribs or sticky rice Chop Suey with shrimp. There’s also a snack corner with all kinds of bites that you can grab at any point during the flight. Yep, they take food seriously at JAL—just watch the video below.
