This chip shop matches singles based on their favorite snack

What says more about someone than their favorite snack? Exactly. Nothing. So Rotterdam’s chip king Bram Ladage came up with the brilliant idea of matching singles during Valentine’s Day based on their snack preferences.

Nothing more romantic than sharing a frikandel, right? Anyone who not only finds the snack delicious but also likes each other and is open to a second date will receive a voucher from Bram for the second date.

But it gets even better: if the spark really catches fire and the couple decides to tie the knot within five years, Bram Ladage will pay for the wedding!
Well, isn’t this every snack lover’s dream? Okay, having Snackspert there as the civil registrar would really be the mustard on the croquette, but that aside.
Taking part
Can you see yourself sharing a cheese soufflé or minced-meat stick? Sign up via the website and make sure you’re present on Friday evening, 14 February, from 18:00 at Zuidplein shopping centre (Rotterdam Ahoy).
