This is the fastest and best way to make delicious ginger tea

Ginger tea; I really drink liters of it every week. It’s incredibly healthy and delicious, especially with a slice of lemon, a cinnamon stick and a spoonful of honey. But instead of putting slices in the tea, I now make ginger tea this way, and believe me, after trying it once, you’ll never want to make your ginger tea any other way again!

Making tea efficiently
When making ginger tea, you quickly put 2 or 3 slices, peel and all, into the hot water. Not only do the pieces of ginger float around, but this way you also miss out on the extra vitamins and minerals because you don’t actually ‘eat’ the ginger. That can be done differently. With this simple gadget, you save ginger and get all its goodness at the same time.

The ginger grater
The only thing you need for your next cup of ginger tea is this ginger grater. The grater is made of ceramic and has a kind of ‘teeth’ in the middle, which you can use to grate the ginger with the peel and all. You can easily make a whole cup with a small amount of grated ginger, which saves a lot of ginger. Once you’ve grated the ginger, pour a splash of cold water over it. Then pour the water with the grated ginger into your tea glass or mug, top it up with boiling water and voilà: the ginger tea is ready.
Extra healthy
Because you now actually drink the ginger too, you get all the important vitamins and minerals, such as B1, B2, B6, vitamin C, calcium, magnesium, iron and zinc. Ginger also supports your digestion and helps with nausea. Do you prefer your tea without ‘bits’? Then you can also pour the mixture through a tea strainer into your glass.
