This is the tastiest can of Gin & Tonic from the supermarket

BOBBY’S Gin-Tonic blikje

Seriously good news for everyone who likes drinking a G&T but can’t (yet) go to a cocktail bar for it, or likes to drink one outside after six. Bobby’s Schiedam Dry Gin is now available in two canned cocktail varieties at the supermarket!

The G&T hype may be waning after all these years, but I still think it’s an exceptionally delicious cocktail. And many agree with me, because it’s still a bestseller in many a cocktail bar. But a genuinely delicious Gin & Tonic from a can, from the supermarket? I hadn’t found one yet. Until now.

Because Bobby’s newbies have changed all that. On the shelves at Jumbo, alongside the original Bobby’s Gin & Tonic, you’ll find a funky twist on the classic: Bobby’s Gin & Pink Lemonade. Both cocktails are ‘ready to drink’, meaning you can drink them straight from the can. Ideal for the park, the beach, or for filling up the cooler at home during a birthday party or barbecue.

With natural tonic

‘One thing was absolutely clear: it had to be the best of the best,’ says Ad van der Lee, master distiller at Bobby’s. ‘When the idea of also offering our gin in cans was born a year ago, this was only possible for us if we could match genuine bar quality. So we went to great lengths to achieve perfection. The only solution was to develop our own natural tonic. So that’s what we did.’

Garnish: check

The two varieties aren’t just simple mixers, no: at Bobby’s Gin, they went a big step further to match that beloved bar quality and stand out on the shelf. This means that, in addition to Bobby’s Gin, combined with a homemade mixer, they also took the garnish into account.

In the Bobby’s Gin & Tonic, we detect notes of orange and clove. And grapefruit has been added to Bobby’s Gin & Pink Lemonade for a complete balance of flavours.

Go get them, tigers!

Bobby’s Gin & Tonic and Bobby’s Gin & Pink Lemonade are now available at 67 Jumbo Supermarkets locations. The retail price is € 3.09. Both cans contain 9% alcohol and have a capacity of 250 ml.
