This Milk Makes the Fluffiest Omelet

We’ve been obsessed with perfecting the omelet for a while now. Why? Because nothing is better than starting the day with a fluffy, crunchy omelet that’s perfectly balanced. That means you start the day with a 1–0 lead. FavorFlav’s Wieke already had a golden tip for you, but FavorFlav’s Sharon revealed why her eggs are truly the most delicious.

What does Sharon say you need to make the fluffiest omelet of your life? Coconut milk. Yep, the milk you probably mainly use for your curries. But you can actually do so much more with it!
Coconut milk: super creamy and incredibly airy
Why is coconut milk the secret ingredient for the perfect fluffy omelet? Because coconut milk has a high fat content. That makes your omelet super creamy and wonderfully airy. If you use low-fat milk, there’s a good chance your omelet will turn out somewhat watery. The high fat content of coconut milk also ensures that the ingredients in your omelet—primarily the eggs—combine well. Not unimportant. Finally, coconut milk also does something to the flavor of your omelet. It gives it a deliciously nutty taste. Three reasons to stock up on plenty of coconut milk, so you can eat that 10+ omelet every morning.

The very, very best omelet
So how much coconut milk should you use for your omelet? In principle, you can stick to the following ratio: 1 tablespoon of coconut milk per 2 eggs. Crack your eggs into a bowl, add the coconut milk and whisk together. That’s it. Then add your favorite ingredients (we recommend a spoonful of sugar; it works wonders too) and, also essential according to Sharon: crispy chili oil. Cook the omelet in the pan. We prefer to do it Jamie Oliver’s way.
Look, at school we rarely, if ever, got a 10+… But now we hit the mark every morning.
