Want to try it: the Crompouce Martini

tompouce martini

Yes, yes, I know: I was completely done with everything surrounding the Crompouce. But that was before I heard about the Crompouce Martini, because that does sound absolutely delicious to me. Especially if I don’t have to do anything myself; this cocktail simply comes from a tap.

You can soon rent this new flavor from De Cocktailtapper, which I had never heard of before anyway — but it is a concept right up my alley. Cocktail taps that you can rent for your drinks party or celebration; brilliant.

And what if you want to make a Crompouce Martini at home?

Well, then you’ll have to come up with a recipe yourself, although I do have another recipe for you if it’s purely about the color. And it’s very simple: you make it like a regular Espresso Martini, but instead of coffee liqueur you use Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake. And voilà: a beautiful pink color and wonderfully sweet flavor.

So for this cocktail you’ll need vodka, coffee and Baileys Red Velvet Cupcake, and optionally some coffee beans for decoration… Or of course simply a piece of tompouce. Guaranteed success.
