When you think you’re going to eat chicken nuggets, but when you look closely…
Even the biggest food snob occasionally enjoys a bucket of chicken nuggets or chicken wings from KFC. Yes, you too—admit it. But maybe the next time you dip one of those nuggets, you’ll stop and think: what exactly am I holding? In England, Gabrielle picked a breaded… chicken head out of her bucket of chicken wings. Eww!
Gabrielle got quite a shock. She had ordered a delicious bucket of chicken wings from KFC and was just about to dip the first wing into the sauce when she saw what she was holding. An entire chicken head, complete with beak. Gabrielle made herself a cheese sandwich afterwards or grabbed a bag of crisps; she had completely lost her appetite for those chicken wings. She posted a photo of the surprise in her snack bucket online.

Real chicken!
And yes, of course KFC responded. ‘At least you know for sure that our chicken nuggets are made from real chicken,’ head office cheerfully replied. But they also apologised to Gabrielle and offered her a free meal. Gabrielle was also invited to visit the restaurant one day, to see that KFC handles food properly. That way, next time she’ll at least feel comfortable ordering again—and won’t have to worry about her snack staring back at her from the bucket.
