Streetfood
A south-facing terrace, right in the city centre. Most people don’t come here for a quick bite, but for a large plate of freshly prepared food. Here, you put together your own street food fries or box with, for example, kibbeling and curly fries. You can also get a salad loaded with steak and bean sprouts here. Giornale
You’ll find this Italian restaurant on the ever-lively Stationsplein. And it’s just as an Italian restaurant should be: relaxed, atmospheric and with a menu packed with great food. From eleven to four, you can enjoy flatbread with beef tenderloin or a potato omelette with marinated salmon. For those of us who always struggle to choose: you can share. At Giornale, you can also eat Italian-style tapas, with lots of small dishes to share.

Kazerne
Eindhoven’s hotspot for design, art and delicious food. The seasonal menu changes regularly. During lunch, order a sandwich with hazelnut ragout, mustard greens and pecorino, or one of our favourites: the panzanella.

Piet Hein Eek
In Eindhoven’s former factory halls, you’ll find a restaurant alongside designer Piet Hein Eek’s office and warehouse. And as it happens, you can also have an excellent lunch here. There’s something for everyone. You could go for the artichoke soup or a delicious pork belly sandwich. What are we particularly craving? The flammkuchen with summer truffle and crème fraîche.
