Where you want to go on Singles Day, November 11
This coming Friday is a celebration for me. No, I’m not going door to door singing in search of candy and/or snacks. Although… Add a few drinks and I can totally see myself doing just that. Those drinks are definitely going in, because the holiday I’m talking about is Singles Day. Yippee, a holiday for singles. LOVE IT. And of course, you can celebrate it any way you like, but I think I have the very best tip for you: go to the Pays d’Oc IGP Date Café.
You’ll find it on November 11 in the Poolbar of the Kanarie Club in Amsterdam. And on the 12th and 13th as well, by the way — so you can simply turn Singles Day into a Singles Weekend.
Go find your ‘partner in wine’
On all three of these evenings, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., you’ll have the chance to meet your partner in wine, Mrs/Mr Right-for-a-Night, or perhaps even the love of your life through speed dates. A ticket costs just €15, and you’ll also get two glasses of wine.
You do need to sign up in advance, which you can do via this link, if you’re between 20 and 35 years old. I’d say: let’s go. And hey, are you not single but still in the mood for good wine and a fun evening? Then of course you’re welcome too.
