Woman Gives Birth at McDonald’s and Names Her Baby ‘Little Nugget’

It seems incredibly difficult to have to choose a name for your future baby — I already found it mega difficult with pets. What sounds nice now, and what will you still like years from now? Maybe you want it to have a special meaning. Or perhaps you would like to name your child after someone.

Or, for example, after the city where your baby was conceived. Or… after the location where your child is born. Yesss, super fun, right? But what if that location happens to be McDonald’s?
Welcome, Little Nugget!
That is what happened to Alandria Worthy from Atlanta, Georgia. She gave birth at the McDonald’s in Fulton County. What makes it remarkable is that she was already on her way to the hospital, but asked her husband if he could stop somewhere because she needed to use the bathroom. Once they arrived at the McDonald’s, her waters broke in the bathroom, she screamed bloody murder, three employees came running over to see what was going on, and before they knew it, they were assisting with the delivery. Alandria’s husband came to check a little while later to see if everything was okay, because it was all taking quite a long time.
Fifteen minutes later, Alandria gave birth to a perfectly healthy daughter, whom she named Little Nugget right there on the spot. Well. It’s a choice. Of course, people can do as they please. But I still breathed a small sigh of relief when I read that Little Nugget will be her nickname, and not her official name. That’s a relief. Fun fact: Alandria returned to this McDonald’s with lots of gifts for the employees who helped her, and they celebrated with a little baby shower there. Sweet.
