Thirsty tales

You can now book a hotel package with a champagne and gold bath

champagne in bad

You know how you always have to keep your mouth shut when you blissfully immerse yourself in a bath? Well, in this bath I’d simply disappear beneath the surface, greedily gulping away, although taking a shower before jumping in might be a good idea. Because this bath is filled to the brim with… champagne!

You may have to get used to the fact that it might look as though someone has peed in your bath. But once you’ve got past that, and you’re soaking in the bubbles, you can simply drink champagne from a glass if you’d rather not sip your bathwater. To be honest, that probably isn’t such a good idea anyway, because there’s also gold dust on the bubbles in the bath (how??). And after your soak, you can even have your entire head covered in gold!

Fancy-schmancy

Oh yes, things can’t get any fancier at the chic Dial House Hotel in England. After that bath, you can get a facial treatment with 24-carat gold leaf, followed by dinner in the hotel’s fancy restaurant, and in the morning you’ll be served breakfast on a golden tray (in case you’re already experiencing gold withdrawal symptoms).

Over the top

Perhaps it would be fun to combine this with a visit to Salt Bae’s new Nusr-Et restaurant in London? After having lunch there with a six-hundred-pound steak, you can have yourself chauffeured (or helicoptered, which is probably more appropriate) to East Anglia to calmly process all of this in a bubble(!) bath.

Fancy it? Book the Champagne Escape for Two here! And don’t forget to send us a snap of your luxury experience…
