You can now do an Aperol Spritz stroll and it sounds amazing
Walking past the city’s nicest restaurants and cafés is a standard part of our weekend plans. With a stroll like this, where you eat the tastiest take-away dishes and drink cocktails, we at least stay a little in that convivial hospitality atmosphere. One of the newest strolls on the agenda: the Apestroll. An Aperol Stroll, in other words!
Just hearing Aperol Spritz is enough to have us ready at the starting line in our flip-flops. It’s incredibly delicious as a drink, but the bittersweet orange beverage also works particularly well in the form of a cake, cocktail bomb or cheesecake. So, you guessed it, we certainly won’t say no to a stroll entirely dedicated to Aperol Spritz.
A stroll full of Aperol
The Apestroll was created by hospitality and Aperol Spritz fans Davine and Senna. Guided by the idea that ‘every little bit helps’, they decided to create the Aperol Stroll past various (Italian) restaurants in Amsterdam. During a stroll, you visit 5 different stops, or Spritz Stops, where you can get an Aperol Spritz and, if desired, a small snack (aperitivo).
Who, what, when
Every Saturday and Sunday, you can Apestroll between 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Registration opens every Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. Signing up via the website costs €2.50, for which you receive a walking route. At each stop, an Aperol Spritz costs just 5 euros, or 7 or 8 with an aperitivo. So what are you waiting for? Sign up, because before you know it, the strolls will be fully booked!
