These chefs are slinging mud at each other in the media

Taylor Swift vs. Katie Perry, Britney vs. Christina, Drake vs. Pusha-T—at FavorFlav, we’re absolutely not averse to a good feud. Of course, we most enjoy feuds between rivals in the culinary world, and as it happens, two of the world’s biggest chefs have it in for each other.

None other than Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver have been publicly feuding for years. It probably won’t surprise you, but Gordon is mainly the one who repeatedly takes shots at Jamie. For example, he once called the popular TV chef a one pot wonder and condemned Jamie for not attending the opening of one of his own restaurants.
Green with envy
Jamie’s response? He says Gordon does everything he can to get under his skin because he’s insanely jealous of his success. Jamie does understand, by the way, why Gordon can’t figure out why Jamie is so successful. ‘He is too busy shouting and screaming and making our industry look like a bunch of shouters and screamers.’ Well, that’s clear, Jamie!
Gordon, however, believes Jamie should apologize to him because he told the Times that he has five children, while Gordon has ‘only’ four. For Ramsay, judging someone’s family based on the number of children they have goes too far. Not surprising either, considering that Ramsay and his wife Tana lost a baby in a miscarriage in 2017.
Burying the hatchet
Still, we have to stick up for Jamie here, as this quote was actually his way of explaining that he wants to bury the hatchet. “He’s got four kids and I’ve got five kids and I don’t want to be slagging off some kids’ dad on the telly. It’s not nice.” Pretty taken out of context, then. Are you team Gordon or team Jamie?
