Louisiana-style hot dogs

These Louisiana-style hot dogs from barbecue king Jord Althuizen combine gooey cheese with crispy bacon and spicy coleslaw. Method
Slice the hot dog sausages, fill the cuts with cheddar cheese and wrap the stuffed sausages in two slices of streaky bacon (secure the ends with a cocktail stick if necessary). Sprinkle with the barbecue seasoning. Cut into the buns from the top, open them up and briefly grill them on the BBQ. Finely chop the fresh jalapeños and mix them with the coleslaw.
Grill the stuffed hot dog for a few minutes until the cheese melts and the bacon is crispy. Fill the grilled buns with the coleslaw and grilled sausages, and garnish with mustard, barbecue sauce and fried onions.
