Recipe: Salted Peanut Clusters

Of course, you can simply buy them at the supermarket, but making peanut clusters yourself is incredibly easy and delicious. If you manage to get your hands on good-quality chocolate and peanuts, they’re also a thousand times tastier than the ready-made version.

Milk chocolate is our favorite, but if you’re more of a dark or white chocolate fan, those work too. Just make sure to sprinkle a small pinch of Maldon sea salt on top before they set. This turns a simple peanut cluster into a culinary treat.
How to make salted peanut clusters
Melt the chocolate in a saucepan over very low heat, stirring constantly, then turn off the heat. Stir in the peanuts little by little until you have the right consistency. Let the mixture cool slightly on the counter for about fifteen minutes; if you start making the clusters immediately, the chocolate will still be too runny and they will turn into one big lump.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Use a spoon to scoop clusters onto the parchment paper. Top each peanut cluster with a little Maldon sea salt (or another type of fleur de sel). Wait an hour and they’re ready.
