Online platform Reddit collects kitchen drama under the name ‘Stupid Food’. Dishes where the creator acts as if they’ve cooked up who-knows-how-many stars are especially popular in that group.

Terrible food: what is it? Maybe when you haven’t read the recipe properly and get the amount of sambal or lemon juice completely wrong. Maybe when you turn on the blender while the lid is still on the counter. Or when you replace the olives in your pasta salad with grapes and make the dressing with fruit yoghurt instead of cream. But in this case, it’s about the combination: a chef with an attitude and disgusting food on the plate.
