3 tips to make your Starbucks order better

Fan of Starbucks? Personally, I’m not, but whole crowds swear by the whipped cream and syrup creations that are also held under a stream of coffee (or the other way around). And because we like to think along with everyone a little, here are three tips that might make your order at the coffee giant better.

And these tips are shared by loyal fans who know all the ins and outs…
You don’t ask for a larger cup for an iced coffee
Apparently, this is a real pro move, although we would recommend always bringing your own (very large) cup. The sizes there are ‘tall, grande and venti’; so, for example, bring a reusable venti cup (the largest size) and ask whether you can have your tall iced coffee in it. That leaves enough room for any extra ice cubes or some milk, and you can hobble to the bus stop just a little faster with your drink in hand.
You always order only the smallest Frappucino because you can’t really handle the sweetness
It’s impossible, indeed, how sweet those things are. But you can simply ask whether the barista can make your Frappucino or other blender drinks less sweet.
You burn your mouth every time because you’re an impatient type
This will be more difficult with black coffee, but if you order coffee with (plant-based) milk, you can ask them to make it slightly less hot. Most baristas hate overly hot milk in coffee anyway and, at specialty coffee shops, will never heat the milk until it has that cloying hot-milk smell, but at large chains it’s often about standardization. So it’s best to indicate your preferences as soon as possible.
