We thought we knew most of the bizarre ice cream flavors by now, but no. They’re taking things very far in Scotland. Fries with your mayo ice cream?

We previously wrote about all kinds of crazy ice cream flavors you can get in the Netherlands, and recently we also came across Big Mac ice cream. Ice Falkirk in Scotland could easily have joined the ranks of crazy ice cream parlors. The first flavor they attracted attention with was ‘Strongbow Dark Fruit’, named after the drink of the same name. They also have Monster Energy ice cream, and now mayonnaise ice cream. For the true mayo addict.

Hellmann’s mayonnaise

They didn’t choose just any mayonnaise for the flavor. Hellmann’s ‘brings out the best’ mayonnaise is creamy and rich. Just as you can make your baked goods dense, creamy, and rich, some people on Twitter say Falkirk’s ice cream tastes that way too. Others say Falkirk can keep the ice cream. And that they’ve gone crazy. There may be something to that.
