After the limoncello oliebol, there’s now: the Pornstar Martini oliebol
Wendy has done it again! After the success of her limoncello oliebollen last year, she hopes to score another hit this year at her Rotterdam pastry stall with a delicious, generously boozy treat…
Last year, with a distinctly Rotterdam accent, it was the LimonGerso-bol (with local limoncello!) that drew crowds to the stall on Nieuwe Ommoordseweg. By 9 a.m., people were already eagerly waiting to buy the boozy oliebollen – well, a good breakfast is half the battle… And now Wendy Knubben has chosen another popular cocktail to fill this year’s specials with: the Pornstar Martini.

The oliebollen look cheerful, topped with decoration and a little pipette of prosecco. Just like in the cocktail, they also contain Passoã, vanilla vodka and passion fruit, and for the occasion she has slightly adapted the name: the Pornstar Martini-bol. It’s important to mention Martini clearly, she says with a laugh: “I do just have an oliebol stall, you know.”
Not a Drop Wasted
The drink filling is only injected after the oliebollen have been fried, Wendy explains, so that the flavor and alcohol content remain intact. This bol is sweeter and fruitier than last year’s limoncello bol, and Wendy naturally hopes it will once again prove hugely popular. Good luck, girl, and cheers!
