Albert Heijn’s new bread snacks are so bad they make you cry

Snackspert picked up some new bread snacks from the bakery section at Albert Heijn to taste so you don’t have to. And thankfully. ‘What utterly worthless additions to the range.’

A chicken pide: delicious! Or a sucuk pide: yum! A Mexican burrito: heavenly! And yes, even vegetarian, these two bread snacks can be really tasty (just check out these breakfast burritos). The combination of spices, good bread and fresh vegetables can’t go wrong. Or can it? That’s what the new additions to the Albert Heijn range seem to suggest.
Albert Heijn bread snacks
No, you haven’t landed on my OnlyFans page, and no, you’re not looking at an open knee either. Albert Heijn has new snacks in the bakery section, and don’t ask me how they ended up there, because I genuinely don’t understand how these products were approved. The vegetarian chicken pide has perfectly decent meat-free chicken, a little juicy too, but that bun is so, so, so, so dry that it’s comparable to a desert. The vegetarian pizza tastes fine, but after one bite you’ve already had enough of it. A bit like a one-night stand that wasn’t all that exciting. And then there’s that vegetarian Mexican burrito: soooo disgusting. You mainly taste beans and… even more beans. No spice, no salt, no herbs to be found. Really, really bad. What utterly worthless additions to the range. ⭐️
