At these festivals, you can eat McDonald’s

McDonald’s is doing great. In the ‘never change a winning team‘ category, they’re not changing their recipes, but simply making sure we can eat their burgers even more often. They have introduced catering for weddings (admittedly, for now this is only in Indonesia, but who knows…) and now they have another first: McDonald’s at festivals.

LOVE IT. Last weekend, Vunzige Deuntjes had the honor of hosting Maccie at their festival for the very first time, and of course I now have FOMO in hindsight. But don’t worry, because this summer they’ll be found at more festivals with a gigantic stand.

‘Being where our fans are is important to us at McDonald’s.’ Says Karin van Prooijen, Marketing Manager Media & Campaigns. ‘But in a way that only McDonald’s can – with our iconic products and the big M taking center stage. Dancing this summer with a McFlurry or Milk Shake in your hand, who wouldn’t want that? As the title reveals: The Big M is the ultimate hotspot for your summer serving of Good Times.’

Of course, I completely agree with her. And when Maccie does something like this, they naturally go all out; the stand looks incredible and is impossible to miss with its large, yellow M. They also have a ball pit, and if you find the golden ball, you win a free McFlurry or Milkshake. This summer, McDonald’s will be at two more festivals: Fiesta Macumba (22 July) and Elrow Town Holland (2 September). Lowlands next year? Sounds amazing to me.
