Bistro Féline opens in the Jordaan: Parisian bistro vibes in Amsterdam
Bonjour, Amsterdam! The Jordaan has gained another restaurant with the opening of Bistro Féline. At Lindengracht, in the spot where Daalder used to be (and later Gossler & Florin), chef Dennis Huwaë is now bringing the atmosphere and flavours of Paris to the heart of the city.
A bistro with Parisian flair
Bistro Féline feels like one of those hidden gems in the Marais: a place where the wine always flows, the tables are small but cosy and the menu invites you to linger over dinner endlessly (do bring some money, because the prices are fairly steep). The atmosphere is relaxed, the dishes timeless but never boring. In our opinion, the portions could definitely be a little more generous, especially considering the price.
The flavour is spot on. Chef Dennis Huwaë, known for his Michelin star at Daalder, shows that refinement and accessibility go together perfectly. “At Féline, everything revolves around flavour, spontaneity and the pleasure of good food,” he says. The menu changes with the seasons and is an ode to classic bistro dishes, with a surprising twist here and there.

The dishes are a mix of classic French fare and delicious treats from elsewhere. Think:
Wagyu charcuterie
Homemade comté bitterballen
Ribeye with green peppercorn sauce
Hasselback potato with Taleggio
And of course: Dennis’s famous stroopwafel for dessert. Crisp on the outside, ice-cold on the inside, mmmm!
Wine, cocktails and good times
The wine list and homemade cocktails receive just as much attention as the kitchen. Perfectly matched to the menu, but also simply delicious to enjoy on their own at the bar. The intimate setting, with small corners and various seating areas, makes Féline ideal for a long evening with friends, a romantic date or an impromptu drink.

Wednesday to Saturday: dinner from 18:00 – 01:00
Friday & Saturday: lunch from 12:30 – 14:30
Reservations can be made via Bistro Féline, but you can also simply walk in.
