Burger King comes up with bizarre ‘real cheeseburger’
As a huge cheese lover, I thought there were no limits to that love, but I have to take that back: there absolutely is a limit, and this new ‘burger’ from Burger King has reached it. In Thailand, they are launching a ‘real cheeseburger’, and just reading about it made my cholesterol level shoot up.
This burger consists of two burger buns… And cheese. That’s it.

That’s what it’s topped with. The ‘chemical’ part is just a guess on my part, by the way, but I assume they didn’t suddenly invest in good Cheddar for this burger. But is it actually edible? The website LifestyleAsia tried it for us, with a very appropriate trigger warning at the top for people who are lactose intolerant.
‘Yep, it sucks. I mean, we already knew it would be bad, but from a journalistic point of view and because my boss forced me to, I still had to taste the cheese. But to be fair, all my colleagues, including my boss, also took a bite so we would all reach the same verdict. And yes, we all agree that this is horrific.’
So if you’re going to Thailand anytime soon… I would ab-so-lutely skip this one. I dare say it tastes even more miserable than it looks.
