Burger King launches the FreaKINGdel Burger

A good old Whopper or the snack wall after all? This choice-induced stress in the life of a true snacker is now a thing of the past. Burger King has launched a new snack that combines both: the FreaKINGdel Burger.

Burger King hopes this will become the next showstopper on Dutch soil. Because the figures show that the Dutch loooooove a good frikandel.

Million-snack

600 million of these units are eaten every year. Twice as many as croquettes! So it’s no surprise that Burger King is sending this new bun out into the world. Because alongside the Netherlands, there are far-reaching plans to take it across the border, to spread the love.

However, they are adapting the preparation and serving method. The FreaKINGdel Burger is ‘flame-grilled’ over an open fire, just like their other burgers, rather than deep-fried. Its shape is square, so it fits on a burger bun, but one thing remains entirely true to tradition: curry, mayo, onions. Snack-attack!
