The Netherlands’ biggest classical film music event
After the three sold-out concerts of De Avond van de Filmmuziek in November, the Netherlands’ biggest classical film music event returns in December with two additional concerts at Ziggo Dome. Actor Daan Schuurmans and double bassist/presenter Dominic Seldis host two special evenings filled with legendary music from the most beautiful films for the winter season.
The most famous film melodies
On 20 and 21 December 2025, the Metropole Orkest will perform the most famous film melodies from, among others, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Titanic and Lord of the Rings. The film music from true December classics such as Wonka, Home Alone, Love Actually and The Holiday will not be missing either.
