De Bijenkorf launches dinner box with dishes from top chefs

Dreading cooking at Christmas? But would you still like to put something special on the table? Then I have a tip: especially for the festive season, de Bijenkorf is launching a dinner box containing all the ingredients plus clear instructions to prepare a festive four-course dinner of top culinary quality at home.

The dishes were created by top chefs Tommy den Hartog (Restaurant 273), Michael van der Kroft (Tres), Wouter van Laarhoven (Alma) and Cas Pikaar (Pikaar), each of whom was responsible for one course. That means scallops as a starter, an intermediate course of celeriac, duck breast as the main course and lemon tart for dessert. Doesn’t that sound delicious?

Takes little time
The dinner boxes can be ordered online only from 8 to 17 December 2021 for 45 euros per person, and will be delivered to your home on 23 December. The box contains both ready-made components and separate ingredients, meaning all the dishes can be prepared relatively easily and in little time.
On the menu
Is this still too much effort, but are you curious about the special creations of these young top chefs? Until 25 December, the individual dishes will be on the menu at The Kitchen restaurant in de Bijenkorf Amsterdam, The Hague, Eindhoven, Rotterdam and Utrecht.
