DiscoDip 2025: the wildest food festival in the Netherlands is back (and at a new location)
DiscoDip 2025 is a food festival. A party. A flavor bomb. A total sensory trip where your tongue instantly falls in love with oysters, bao buns, cheesecake and chilaquiles, while an Italian singer looks straight into your soul. And all of it at a new location in Amsterdamse Bos. Yep. Mark May 23, 24 and 25 in your calendar. This is going to be a feast—with glitter glasses on.
There’s a party coming up in Amsterdamse Bos. Because not only is the best wine festival in the Netherlands—Bacchus—settling in here for two weekends, DiscoDip has also moved from the Veluwe to the woods in Amsterdam.
What exactly is DiscoDip 2025?
DiscoDip 2025 is the brainchild of Miljuschka—you know, the winner of the FavorFlav Food Top 100, creator of those stroopwafel tacos with cheesecake. But this festival isn’t just about food. It’s a culinary fair meets musical meets masterclass. Not a tame food-truck parade, but explosive favorite cuisines from around the world, live performances, a Ferris wheel full of desserts and cooking shows by stars such as Miljuschka herself, Roberta Pagnier, Hugo Kennis and Shirma Rouse.
World cuisines that will send your taste buds into overdrive
DiscoDip 2025 takes you on a journey around the world. Without the jet lag. Maybe just a slight food coma.
Italy: pasta, pizza and sultry singing
Start in the Italian zone: think arancini, antipasti, fritto misto and pizzas that smell of Naples. Bonus points: an Italian singer standing so close that you almost feel guilty when you cut open the burrata.
Asia: TikTok trends and crispy goodness
In the Asian world, you’ll be blown away by matcha crème brûlée crêpes (yes, TikTok sensation alert), as well as crispy gyoza and steaming-hot bao buns. Soft on the outside, a flavor explosion on the inside.
France: oysters & entrecôte in festival attire
Here, you’ll slurp oysters like a Parisian and sink your teeth into a decadent entrecôte baguette. No wine for a change? Then just have a macaron with… DiscoDip sprinkles!
Comfort food from afar: Mexican vibes and bara 2.0
Craving comfort? Go wild at the chilaquiles bar, fancy fried chicken or bara by star chef Soenil Bahadoer. This is Surinamese comfort food in its most glorious form.
Sweet treats: the dessert Ferris wheel really exists
Not subtle, but very sweet. Miljuschka’s famous cheesecake, Belgian waffles, freak shakes—and then a ride on the Ferris wheel with a view of your next snack. Romance 2.0 (provided you don’t throw up all over the place—we warned you).

DiscoDip 2025 isn’t for wallflowers. More happens here. Sign up for DiscoBingo, dive into a secret bar or marry your festival crush for one day. Prefer to learn something? That works too. Miljuschka, Roberta, Hugo and Shirma give masterclasses that teach you plenty and make you cry (with laughter, usually). From comfort food to soul food to pasta porn—here you’ll learn the pros’ tricks. Tasting included, of course.
Sunday is Family Day
Bringing the kids? Great. Sunday is Family Day. Expect face painting, a children’s disco (where you can secretly dance your heart out too) and a creative cooking workshop by Jill Rocket. The youngest children (ages 0–3) get in for the symbolic price of €1. Children aged 4 to 18 pay €12.50. But only when accompanied by an adult. Someone has to stop them at the fifth freak-shake station.

We’ll keep it short: whether you’re coming for the bao, the bara, the cheesecake or to get married for one day, this will be the tastiest weekend of your year. Make sure you’re there. Preferably with an empty stomach and an open mind. Ticket sales for May 23, 24 and 25, 2025 have already started, and the early birds are flying faster than the snacks at Friday afternoon drinks:
