That way you get the creaminess of the ice cream and, as a bonus, two crunchy cookies as well. At Patisserie Linnick, they make the most delicious Ice Cream Sandwich ever: the Ice Cream Macaronick.
Ice Cream Sandwiches: what a brilliant invention. After all, you get the best of both worlds in one bite, and it’s also the ideal finger food. Yes, you can eat this outside without dripping or making a mess, even when the mercury has risen to unprecedented heights.

Craftsmanship
Patisserie Linnick in Amsterdam is known for its insanely delicious pastries and bonbons. Their Sumi bonbon (filled with a caramel made from black sugar from Okinawa and yuzu) was even named the best bonbon in the Netherlands. The display case here is filled with beautiful little cakes and pastries and – ooh la la! – you can also choose from lots of different macaron flavors. Including AIX rosé macarons. Top-notch craftsmanship!
Iconic Macaronick
The Ice Cream Macaronicks come in different flavors. From hazelnut parfait with hazelnut praline and salted swirl caramel, crispy milk chocolate pearls, banana parfait with pecan praline and dark chocolate crispies, chocolate parfait with brownie and salted caramel to pistachio parfait with a cherry caramel swirl. Believe me: every single one is divine. The macaron is crunchy and chewy on the inside, just as it should be, while the ice cream is easy to bite into, creamy, fresh and not too sweet. The ultimate Ice Cream Sandwich—I’ve never eaten them this delicious!

The Ice Cream Macaronicks are incredibly popular. They cost €6.50 each. Go early to make sure you can get your favorite flavor because—as you can see below—by the end of the day, the stock has dwindled considerably! You can also order in advance from the webshop.
