Yay! We’ve discovered another new ice cream treat. After the liquorice, Flugel, Bloody Mary and Limoncello ice creams, we’re now licking our way through a hit of childhood nostalgia: lemon ice cream in a lemon. Because wow, this is seriously delicious!
Lemon ice cream in a lemon
Funny enough, just one lick of this lemon ice cream took me straight back in time. Lemon ice cream served in an ice-cold lemon — my sister and I used to get that at our favorite local Chinese restaurant. It was the highlight of every meal. I hadn’t seen it in years, and then suddenly it popped up again. First as a message in our group chat: ‘oh, deliciously nostalgic, who remembers this one?’, and then promptly in my own freezer. And it’s definitely here to stay! This is simply incredibly tasty, and now you can also buy it at HEMA. Anyway, HEMA, you no longer need to fear bankruptcy. I’m on my way, and I’m bringing an army of lemon fans with me. Bring on the ice cream!
