Doritos has a new flavor: guacamole. And dear people: this is simply brilliant. More to the point: Doritos with guacamole flavor—how did this not exist already?

Tortilla chips and guac, fries and mayo, soy crackers and hummus (you really have to try this!); all the embodiment of indispensable dip combinations, if you ask me. So why not make that dip a flavor on your chips?
Subtle guac flavor
In the case of the new Doritos (by the way, did you know that Doritos was once intended as a solution to food waste?) it works perfectly well. The chip itself is as deliciously crunchy as you’d expect from Doritos, and the guac flavor is subtle. You can taste it, but it’s by no means overpowering. And are you a cilantro hater? Don’t worry, because although good guac should contain cilantro, as far as I’m concerned, it isn’t in this flavor.

With extra guacamole on the side
Add a bowl of salsa and, for the true guac fan, naturally some homemade guacamole too. And… of course, we’re very curious about Tilda Swinton’s fashionable response to these new Doritos…
