Eat soup with Albert Heijn for the food bank: are you joining in?

Slurping soup and supporting the food bank—I think it’s a wonderful initiative. And starting today, you can do that with Soupalicious soup at Albert Heijn. With every cup of chilled fresh soup you buy, you automatically donate the same amount of soup to the food bank.

Shocking but true: more than 1 million people in the Netherlands live below the poverty line. The food bank provides food assistance to 40,000 families every week. And that’s not all—in this way, the food bank also helps combat food waste.

Over the next six months, Albert Heijn and Soupalicious aim to generate at least 250,000 bowls of soup through the sale of Soupalicious, so they can really use your help.

Pea soup with sausage

Albert Heijn sells three Soupalicious soups in 520 ml packaging: Thai curry soup, pumpkin-coconut soup and pea soup with sausage. Prices range from €3.70 to €3.90. Will you slurp along too?
