Efteling puts fries with mushrooms and truffle mayonnaise on the menu
This is going to be such a treat, a day at Efteling. I usually associate a day at a theme park with overpriced food that isn’t tasty either; thankfully, that really is a thing of the past now. Food at Disneyland, for example, is definitely far too expensive but genuinely delicious, and I once ate the best waffle of my life at Walibi (with white chocolate sauce!). And Efteling isn’t falling behind either: it’s now putting fries with mushrooms and truffle mayo on the menu.
Now I’m actually quite curious about fries with mushrooms, because I’ve genuinely never heard of that before. Maybe I’m the only one? It actually sounds quite logical, especially in combination with truffle mayo. And just check out that photo: these fries with truffle mayo look absolutely amazing.
De Smulpaap is the place to go
Efteling is quite big, so before you search the entire park: De Smulpaap is where you need to be. You can find it on Anton Pieckplein. Just don’t wait too long, because they call it a real ‘winter special’. It only costs €4.50, by the way. You’d be doing your own wallet a disservice by not getting it, I reckon.
Or you can wait until the summer edition, because then they’ll have another special. Last year it was—how delicious does this sound—fries with jalapeño cheese balls and chili sauce. I. Want. That. Okay, now you know: Efteling simply sells seriously delicious fry combinations. And perfectly decent Unox sausages too, in a bun with chili cheese. Is your mouth watering yet?
