Lemon
As Sergio Herman told us in an interview: the Dutch cook too sweetly. Agreed. How often have we wished we had a lemon in our bag at a restaurant? Just to be able to squeeze a little juice over the dish. It brings the flavors to life and helps them come together. At home too, lemon is the salt of the earth. Or it is left to pickle in salt.
