Although the first liquorice factory was in Italy, we like to claim liquorice as typically Dutch, and in the Netherlands we are by far the biggest consumers too. We eat more than 2 kilos per person per year, and I suspect the FavorFlav editorial team accounts for a pretty substantial share of that.. Are you also a hardcore liquorice fan? It is a challenge that the liquorice makers at Klepper & Klepper, also known as the tastiest liquorice in the world, have just launched into the world. Do you have what it takes to come up with their new liquorice flavor? With a bit of luck, it will be tastier than their latest creation, because honestly: that seaweed flavor did not go down particularly well with FavorFlav.
Liquorice with pesto?
I can’t wait to hear about all the bizarre liquorice flavors that will come along. Although I’m not immediately enthusiastic at the thought of popcorn- or pesto-flavored liquorice, I’d be happy to be surprised. After all, I also found Venco’s chocolate liquorice and liquorice ice cream surprisingly delicious.
