Good for you for cooking, but it’s better not to take disgusting photos

Taking food photos isn’t for everyone. Yes, it can be quite a challenge to make a dish look even somewhat appetizing on camera. Especially when you’ve cooked something yourself that doesn’t look appetizing in any way. But hey, you’re proud of it, of course — so it has to be posted.

There’s a good chance you’ll end up in the hilarious Facebook group ‘Hey vet tof dat je gekookt hebt maar beter maak je geen smerige fotos‘, which is one of my favorites. The things that come up here are absolutely hilarious, so I’ve listed the funniest ones for you. Do view them at your own risk, because the name says it all: the photos really are disgusting.

10. I can’t reconcile the description with the photo: what is that gigantic cheesecake on the right?!
