Great news for snack fans: FEBO brings the Kroketburger back to the menu

Great news for all lovers of top-notch snacks: the Kroketburger is back after being away for a while. And you’ll really want to sink your teeth into this one. Because a crispy disc filled with creamy ragout, broth made from Dutch beef, and homemade mustard sauce on a fresh white bun… irresistible, if you ask me.

The FEBO croquette is an iconic snack, no doubt. FEBO, founded in 1941 under the name Bakkerij FEBO, is the company of pastry chef Johan Izaäk de Borst. Alongside artisan bread and other treats, Johan de Borst delved into making, yes: croquettes. Demand for his freshly made croquettes was so high that in 1960 he stopped running the bakery and continued with an automat where he sold croquettes and other fresh snacks. And the rest is history.

Even more delicious FEBO news
In addition to the Kroketburger, FEBO is also introducing two extra summer flavors of ice cream and milkshake. This summer, FEBO is bringing the IJs-co De Ruijter with generous chocolate sprinkles and banana sauce, as well as a Frozen Frappuccino: an ice-cold cappuccino milkshake made with real coffee, whipped cream, and caramel.
XXL snack wall
Get your snacks at the FEBO on Rozengracht in Amsterdam; this location has a real infinity snack wall. In other words, an XXL snack wall where you can pull an endless number of snacks from behind the little doors. So if you’re not (yet) ready to say goodbye to your corona kilos, you know where to go.
