Handy: cocktails shaken in your Dopper

Almost everyone has a Dopper in the cupboard. And although the bottle was specially designed to be filled with water, this summer we’d rather fill it with something else. Because you no longer need a cocktail shaker if you have a Dopper at home!

To make a cocktail absolutely perfect, you would normally first measure the spirits down to the millimetre in a jigger, and then shake it. You usually do that shaking in a cocktail shaker, but what if you’re going to the beach and want to take half a litre of your favourite cocktail with you that will also stay cold?

Then simply bring a Dopper along! And we mean the insulated version. Because its interior is made of steel, just like a cocktail shaker, it makes a great alternative. It also ensures that everything stays cold for at least a few hours. Going for a Whisky Sour? Pour all the ingredients into the Dopper, shake with the ice cubes and you’re done. Handy: once you arrive at the beach, you can give it another good shake before drinking the cocktail (which, of course, we do from the cup intended as the cap).

The only minor downside is that the ice cubes will of course slowly melt when it’s over 30 degrees. But hey, a deliciously refreshing drink from the bottle is absolutely worth it.
