Handy kitchen gadget for your drawer: the herb stripper

With clams with garlic and lemon, a finishing touch of finely chopped parsley is essential. But instead of picking the leaves off the sprig one by one and then finely chopping them, we’ve found a particularly handy kitchen gadget: the herb stripper.

Earlier, we shared a simple tip for chopping a bunch of herbs in no time. But for anyone who would rather not work lightning-fast with a razor-sharp knife, this herb stripper comes in very handy.
The all-rounder
All you have to do is pull the stem through the appropriate hole, and the leaves drop straight onto the cutting board. The tool can be used for hard and soft herbs such as rosemary, thyme, tarragon, basil and parsley. It also has some larger holes, making it easy to strip the soft leaves from tough kale stems, as well as a small cutting edge for finely chopping everything up.
Simple but so effective. And all that for an ultra-low price of €3.27. You can order it here.
