Here’s where you can buy an incredibly beautiful espresso machine for a bargain price
I’ll admit it: I didn’t buy our coffee machine solely because I enjoy drinking a cup of coffee. I mainly think it’s an incredible addition to my kitchen. A large, silver espresso machine with impressive buttons makes me feel like a real barista. Lidl seems to understand what we need. The supermarket is launching a beautiful espresso machine, but at a bargain price.
That’s good news, because a machine like that normally costs an arm and a leg. My current machine, the SAGE Barista Express, set me back at least five hundred euros. Compared with that, Lidl’s espresso machine is a steal.
You’ll want to have this affordable espresso machine from Lidl
The machine you can buy at Lidl was designed and produced by the BEEM brand. It’s a portafilter machine with a grinder, thermoblock and heating system. Plus, it has a steam wand. You can use it to heat milk and make, for example, cappuccino.
The BEEM Espresso Machine is a perfect purchase for the wannabe barista who can already picture themselves busy with a portafilter (the handle you see on the left of the machine) and that fun steam wand. Since it’s very competitively priced—you can have it for € 279—you can at least practise your skills for a very reasonable price. It’s much nicer than immediately buying a very expensive machine, as I did. And you do get a beautiful, sleek machine sitting on your countertop. It’s also perfect if you want to open your own at-home coffee bar for one day.
Lidl: lots of household products at bargain prices
It’s always a smart tip to keep a close eye on Lidl’s household department. Every now and then, they really come out with excellent products that are very affordable. Beautiful Dutch ovens, handy to-go smoothie makers, Bosch food processors—all great tips.
