H!P chocolate is delicious and incredibly sustainable

Hip chocolade

Is there a new chocolate bar on the shelf? Then it obviously goes straight into the (online) basket to try out. I bought this bar from the new chocolate brand H!P at Flink. And it’s delicious!

Flink, the quick-delivery company that delivers recipes to your home alongside your groceries, has a mountain of delicious things you don’t come across in the supermarket every day. And that means you can quickly add a bar of chocolate for after dinner to your order, alongside those essential groceries.

Sustainable bar

The English chocolate brand H!P has been around since the beginning of last year. The chocolatiers want to reinvent chocolate by using creamy plant-based oat milk instead of ‘regular’ milk. Not only is it better for the environment, it’s also incredibly healthy because no sugar is added to the oat milk used, and it is rich in fibre, protein and vitamins such as zinc and magnesium. In addition, the chocolate is slave-free and packaged in plastic-free packaging. A sustainable bar, then!

What does it taste like?

I chose the Cookies No Cream variety with pieces of Oreo. But there are more flavours, including salted pretzel, salted honeycomb and salted caramel. The bar is nice and thin, so there’s no fuss with awkwardly large chunks. And the flavour? It’s TOP. Creamy, crunchy cookie pieces and not too sweet. In short, everything you want from a chocolate bar.

You can order the bars from Flink, at some Holland & Barrett stores or online here for approximately €3.50 each. #nospon #simplyveryhappywiththisdiscovery
