Important food warning: salads for bread may contain copper particles

All major supermarkets are issuing a food warning. It concerns spreadable salads for bread. Lidl’s Chef select farmersalad and Johma farmersalad are being removed from the shelves. The reason for this recall is the possible presence of copper particles with a diameter of 0.16 mm and a length between 0.01 and 2 cm. The problem also occurs in other salads at Jumbo. So be extra careful.

Johma is the largest salad producer in the Netherlands. I am always amazed when standing in front of the supermarket shelf. The choice of salads is enormous! The problems concern the farmersalad; the salad with celery, carrot, gherkin and onion in a rich yoghurt sauce.
