In the Dutch style: McDonald’s launches a new burger

If you know me even a little, you know: I’m a Big Mac girly at heart. So whenever I go to McDonald’s, it’s always part of my order — otherwise I’m disappointed and regret it. But I’m definitely making an exception for this new burger, with a Dutch twist.

We all know the Homestyle Crispy Chicken. But from October 31, you can get it with Old Amsterdam. Doesn’t that honestly sound insanely delicious?

New burger also available in a vegetarian version
What immediately makes me uneasy again is that they haven’t communicated in advance how long this Homestyle Crispy Chicken x Old Amsterdam will be on the menu. Of course, they’re being clever about that too, because now I’ll obviously be rushing there to try it.
Fun fact: this new burger with Old Amsterdam is also available as a vegetarian option! In that respect, McDonald’s is really doing a great job; I genuinely think their veggie nuggets are good too. Okay, the Meatless McKroket may have been a bit of a miss (especially because the meat version disappeared from the menu), but I can only be happy about more vegetarian options.
And it has to be said: those flavors at Maccie are genuinely delicious.
