Inter Scaldes number one in restaurant guide Lekker500
The Lekker500 restaurant guide has been published, and numbers 1 and 2 are the same restaurants as last year. Number four is symbolically left empty.
Restaurant Inter Scaldes in Kruiningen, Zeeland, is once again number one in the Top 100 of restaurant guide Lekker500. ‘Beautiful villa in Zeeland’s Zuid-Beveland, surrounded by a lush garden. Inside, plenty of art by patron-chef Jannis Brevet himself. He creates delicious dishes, while his wife Claudia is the ever-cheerful hostess,’ according to the jury.
Numbers 2 and 3
Second place once again goes to De Librije of Jonnie and Thérèse Boer in Zwolle. Tribeca in Heeze, Brabant, is in third place. The empty spot at number four is striking. It was actually supposed to be awarded to Restaurant De Leest, but since the restaurant is going to close at the end of this year, Lekker is symbolically leaving this position empty.
The final entry
De Lindehof of Soenil Bahadoer moved up one place, from 6 to 5, while Ciel Bleu dropped from 4 to 6. Spectrum of Sidney Schutte remains at 7 (last year the restaurant was still called Librije’s Zusje). Pure C of Syrco Bakker and Sergio Herman moves up slightly, from 10th to 8th place. FG by Francois Geurds drops from 8 to 9. Da Vinci rounds out the top 10. Restaurant 212 by Richard van Oostenbrugge and Thomas Groot in Amsterdam (20th place on the list) is this year’s fastest climber.
