Lidl launches ‘Lidl Deals’: even lower prices
Lidl regularly comes up with great deals (yesterday, for example, I tipped you off about our favorite Grüner Veltliner from Lidl, which is currently on offer). But now things are getting serious. Lidl is launching Lidl Deals. And that means even more Lidl for your money.
In 1997, Lidl opened its first stores in the Netherlands. By now, there are around 440 stores throughout the country, as well as a webshop for non-food products. We’re happy to admit it: we have a soft spot for Lidl. And apparently, we’re not the only ones; according to recent research, Lidl is the Netherlands’ most beloved supermarket. Consumer appreciation is based on the excellent price-quality ratio and attractive price level.
Best Product of the Year
We completely understand this. Grocery prices have been skyrocketing for years, so it’s extra nice that we don’t have to pay top dollar for good products. For example, Lidl’s dishwasher tablets are every bit as good as A-brands—they were even named Best Product of the Year—and cost a fraction of the price. That’s a win.
Lidl Deals
You can really make the most of that during Lidl Deals. Prices will be even lower, meaning you’ll get even more Lidl for your money. It’s not yet known exactly which products will be included, but Lidl assured us: ‘We always have low prices, but during the price campaign, prices are even lower.’
The campaign starts on Monday, February 26. The products can be recognized by the yellow ‘price sticker’ bearing the Lidl Deals logo.
