Mafia crook caught through his cooking videos on YouTube
Marc Feren Claude Biart had stayed out of the hands of the police for years after being convicted of cocaine smuggling. But he was eventually unmasked and arrested because of his cooking videos on YouTube.
Marc Feren Claude Biart was convicted of smuggling cocaine into the Netherlands on behalf of the ‘Ndrangheta, Italy’s most powerful mafia organisation, from the Italian region of Calabria. Marc didn’t go to prison; he fled. He hid out in Boca Chica, a small town in the Dominican Republic, and thus evaded his sentence.

But that party is over. The mafia boss posted cooking videos on YouTube, in which he showed how to prepare real Italian classics. He carefully kept his face out of the frame, but unfortunately his tattoos were clearly visible to the camera. And Marc’s tattoos were exceptionally recognisable…
Pasta in the slammer
The 53-year-old crook was recently arrested in his hometown. Maybe he can make pasta in prison too?
