McDonald’s Is Getting More Expensive: This Is What You Now Pay for Your Big Mac

Inflation is affecting all of us, and McDonald’s is no exception. I hear many people around me complaining about how much more expensive eating out has become, but that also applies to fast food. McDonald’s has raised its prices this year too, and I think it’s quite a steep increase.

A Big Mac Meal (as well as the Quarter Pounder Meal or McChicken Meal) is now simply more than one euro more expensive. How does that make sense?
A cheap trip to McDonald’s is no longer an option
I also think the individual burgers have become considerably more expensive; the Big Mac used to cost € 4,55 and now costs € 5,25 — so that’s a 70-cent difference. What’s striking: the 9-piece Chicken McNuggets have stayed the same price, but if you order them as a meal, the price has gone up by 95 cents again. Make it make sense.
Right, below you’ll find a complete overview. I would rather not have known (I didn’t look at the bill at McDonald’s that often anyway), because it’s abundantly clear that a cheap trip to McDonald’s is no longer possible… Can we go back to the days when the Euroknallers were still around? One more free tip from me: download the app, because it often gives you extra discounts and lets you save up for free items. And with these prices, it’s definitely worth it.
