Miljuschka launches brand-new cooking show: Bake with Miljuschka

Can’t get enough of baking either? Join the club! But could you use some extra baking help so you can become master of every type of dough? Miljuschka Witzenhausen to the rescue; in the new cooking show Bake with Miljuschka, she works with a different type of dough in every episode. And there’s inspiration aplenty, because in each episode she makes two sweet or savoury dishes with one dough (and her famous cheesecake makes an appearance too!)

I’ll admit it straight away: I’m a reasonably good cook, but I know less about baking. I’m too chaotic, too impatient, and no matter how much I’ve learned from a decade of Great British Bake Off, I can still really use enough tricks of the trade. And that works out well, because from cake batter to brioche dough (oh, nothing is as delicious as soft, sweet and glossy brioche!), and from bread dough to puff pastry, they all pass in review in Bake with Miljuschka.
Miljuschka’s strawberry slof
You don’t have to be a master pastry chef to bake delicious things (note to self: do stick to the recommended and carefully measured ingredients), and Miljuschka shows that in her own humorous way. Miljuschka’s favourite cake recipe depends on which way the wind is blowing. Elements such as the weather, as well as which fruit is available, play a part in this. At the moment, the Charlotte Russe with raspberries is a favourite. And the recipe everyone should try at least once is, according to Miljuschka, without a doubt her strawberry slof.
Bake with Miljuschka will be broadcast on 24Kitchen every weekday at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. starting 7 June.
