Food halls are popping up all over The Hague. The latest addition near The Hague Central Station: Hofhouse.

The venue measures no less than 1,000 square metres and has seating for 350 people. Inside, you’ll find eight different restaurants. Six have permanent spots here, while two stands rotate seasonally. At the opening on 18 June, you’ll find Lekkernijs, VIA, Toastable, Burgerz, Mad Mex, Zilt en Zalig, SLA and NOOMI.

Sky-high grilled cheese

Here you’ll eat real comfort food. Grilled cheese sandwiches from Toastable, for example—not just a simple ham-and-cheese toastie. No, the toasties here are usually sky-high and loaded with cheese, chicken, bacon or chorizo. Another recommendation from us is the pizza from VIA. Read here why.

Food hall mecca

Hofhouse is not the first, and certainly not the only, food hall in 070. Earlier this year, Barn47 also opened. In this old American warehouse, you can enjoy international dishes for a set price. Minglemush is located on the other side of the station. Here, you can enjoy fifteen different stands. We’ve already listed our recommendations for you.

Opening

Hofhouse’s opening week starts on Sunday 18 June with the Mini Hofhouse Chef event. The event is dedicated to Father’s Day and gives children between the ages of 6 and 12 the chance to show off their cooking skills and make a gift for their father.
